These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of hyeteam.com and the virtual assistant staffing services provided by HyeTeam (“HyeTeam,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website, scheduling a Strategy Call, engaging our services, or applying to become a Virtual Assistant, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Our services

HyeTeam is a virtual assistant staffing agency. We recruit Virtual Assistants (“VAs”) based in Armenia and connect them with businesses (“Clients”) that need administrative, back office, medical administrative, and other digital support. The specific scope, schedule, and pricing of each engagement are set out in a separate service agreement, proposal, or written confirmation between HyeTeam and the Client. If those documents conflict with these Terms, the signed service agreement controls.

Strategy calls and quotes

Strategy Calls, consultations, and quotes are provided to help you understand our services. They are not binding offers. An engagement begins only once both parties confirm it in writing.

Client responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about your business and the work you need
• Give clear instructions, reasonable access to the tools and accounts your VA needs, and timely feedback
• Use our services only for lawful purposes and never ask a VA to do anything illegal, unsafe, or unethical
• Keep your own passwords, systems, and data secure, and remove access your VA no longer needs
• Remain responsible for decisions made in your business, including the review of any work before it is relied upon

Fees and payment

Pricing is based on full time or part time working hours, as agreed for each engagement. Invoices are due according to the payment terms in your service agreement. We may pause services on accounts with overdue balances until payment is received. Fees already paid are not refundable unless your service agreement says otherwise.

Non solicitation

Our Virtual Assistants are recruited, vetted, and supported by HyeTeam. During an engagement and for twelve (12) months after it ends, Clients agree not to hire or contract with a VA introduced by HyeTeam directly or through another company, unless HyeTeam agrees in writing.

Confidentiality

HyeTeam and its VAs will keep your non public business information confidential and use it only to provide the services you requested. This does not apply to information that is already public, that was lawfully known before you shared it, or that must be disclosed by law.

Medical practices

HyeTeam provides HIPAA compliance training for VAs who support medical practices. Practices remain responsible for their own compliance obligations, including deciding what patient information to share, controlling system access, and putting any required agreements in place, such as a Business Associate Agreement, before protected health information is shared.

Virtual Assistant applicants

Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview, placement, or work. Applicants agree that the information they provide is accurate. Terms of work for Virtual Assistants are set out in separate agreements between HyeTeam and each VA.

Use of our website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to interfere with the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, or copy its content for commercial use without our permission. The HyeTeam name, logo, and website content belong to HyeTeam or its licensors.

Our website may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

Our website is provided “as is.” While we work hard to match each Client with the right VA, we do not guarantee specific business results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms or in a signed service agreement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HyeTeam will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim related to our website or services will not exceed the fees you paid to HyeTeam in the three (3) months before the claim arose.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless HyeTeam and its VAs from claims arising out of your misuse of our services, your instructions to a VA, or your violation of these Terms or the law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use our website or services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
